Nine-member Board of the Public Television has shortlisted four candidates out of sixteen competing for the General-Director’s position of the public broadcasting.

The shortlisted candidates are: Dodo Shonava, chief of the news programs of the Public Television; Badri Koplatadze from the Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management; Davit Paichadze, who chairs faculty of journalism at the Tbilisi State University and Lasha Bakradze.

The Public Television Board interviewed these shortlisted candidates on July 22. The Board will announce winner on July 23.
