Okruashvili: Georgia will Solve S.Ossetian Problem in 2006
Civil Georgia, Tbilisi / 13 Feb.'06 / 17:13

The Georgian government has “a very good peace plan” to solve the South Ossetian conflict, but, unfortunately, there are no positive results from this plan because of “Russia’s unconstructive position,” Irakli Okruashvili, the Georgian Defense Minister, said in an interview with Imedi television on February 12.

“But we are working very actively over this issue and I am absolutely sure that this problem will finally be solved this year with the restoration of Georgia’s jurisdiction in this region,” Okruashvili added.
