A group of civic campaigners hold a protest rally outside the Interior Ministry on March 17 against, as they put it, police violence.

Later on the same day it is expected that these human right groups will join a protest rally of the opposition parties outside the President’s office to demand Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili’s resignation over high-profile murder scandal.
