The Georgian Parliament unanimously adopted on March 17 two draft resolutions prepared by the parliamentary commission on territorial integrity. One of the resolutions instructs the Georgian government to set up a state commission, which will study amount of damage the country inflicted as a result of armed conflicts and in a post-conflict period. Shota Malashkhia, chairmen of the commission on territorial integrity said that according to preliminary calculations, this damage has reached about USD 15 billion. |
