South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity and Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh visited Russia’s North Ossetian Republic’s capital Vladikavkaz on June 6, Itar-Tass news agency reported.

Bagapsh and Kokoity met with North Ossetian President Teimuraz Mamsurov in Vladikavkaz.

Itar-Tass quoted Teimuraz Mamsurov as saying that “friendly relations among the three republics should become a firm basis for the development of economic ties.”
 
Prior to this visit Sergey Bagapsh participated in the opening of ceremonies dedicated to the Year of Abkhazia in the South Ossetian capital Tskhinvali.
