Russia Sends Plane to Take Spy Suspects

A plane of the Russian Emergency Ministry landed in the Tbilisi International Airport on October 2, which is expected to take to Moscow four Russian military officers arrested by Georgia for alleged spying, Tbilisi-based Imedi television station reported.

Handover of the Russian officers will be managed by the OSCE. The organization’s Chairman-in-Office, Belgian Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht is now in Tbilisi holding talks with President Saakashvili.

Decision about the handover is expected to be announced a joint news conference of Saakashvili and Gucht after the talks.
