Chief of Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Levan Nikoleishvili has been appointed as the First Deputy Defense Minister replacing Mamuka Kudava, Georgian Defense Ministry reported on November 4.
 
Deputy Chief of Staff, Colonel Zaza Gogava will replace Nikoleishvili, who was appointed as Chief of Staff in February 2005.

Unofficial reports say that ex-Deputy Defense Minister Mamuka Kudava will be nominated as Georgia’s ambassador to France.
