U.S. Army Delegation Visits Georgia

A 14-member delegation of the U.S. army led by the Commander of U.S. Army in Europe, General David D. McKiernan arrived in Georgia on May 2, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported.

The delegation will hold talks with representatives of the Georgian Defense Ministry and Armed Forces.

The U.S. delegation will also visit the Krtsanisi National Training Center to attend U.S.-led military exercises of Georgian servicemen trained under the U.S.-funded Sustainment and Stability Operations Program (SSOP).
