Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Visits Georgia

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mahdi Mostafavi arrived in Tbilisi on a two-day official visit on May 17 to discuss bi-lateral relations with Georgian officials.

According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the Iranian official will meet his Georgian counterpart, Valeri Chechelashvili, Foreign and Economy Ministers, Gela Bezhuashvili and Giorgi Arveladze, respectively, and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Affairs Kote Gabashvili. 

The Iranian deputy foreign minister will attend a special opening ceremony for a new building for Iran’s embassy in Tbilisi.
