Georgia's Constitutional Court moved to Batumi, Adjara Autonomous Republic on July 5.

The move was signaled a year ago by President Saakashvili. It would, he said, further highlight the Adjaran Autonomous Republic's "legal links" with the Georgian state. He also said the re-location was part of a tentative decentralization process.
