A ten-party opposition coalition said business tycoon Badri Patarkatsishvili would not be its candidate for the January 5 presidential election.

“The national council of the united public movement, which unites ten opposition parties, will certainly nominate a candidate and naturally, this will not be Badri Patarkatsishvili,” Davit Zurabishvili of the opposition Republican Party told the Georgian Public Broadcaster.
