Court released seven activists of the opposition Republican Party’s youth wing on November 23.

Police arrested seven activists last night when they were trying to write graffiti in downtown Tbilisi: “We Remember November 7.” Riot police broke up thousands of protesters in Tbilisi and the authorities shut down Imedi TV and radio station on November 7. Police was accusing them of hooliganism.

“Charges against them [activists] – hooliganism – is utter nonsense,” Davit Zurabishvili, a lawmaker from the Republican Party, said on November 23.
