Boris Berezovsky, a former business partner of the late Badri Patarkatsishvili, told Georgian TV station Rustavi 2 by phone on March 13 that he was not indifferent towards developments in Georgia.

He said that Giorgi Khaindrava, an individual member of the eight-party opposition coalition, “had [at a meeting in London] simply outlined the political situation in Georgia to which I am not indifferent.”

“What are you going to do in respect of Georgia?” he was then asked. Berezovsky responded after a short pause: “I am going to do what Badri had been doing.” The brief interview then abruptly ended.

Khaindrava told reporters on March 13 that he had discussed the fate of Imedi TV with Badri Patarkatsishvili’s widow, Inna Gudavadze, at a meeting in London, which was also attended by Berezovsky.
