About ten people, both servicemen and civilians, were killed in fighting in the South Ossetian conflict zone on August 7, a source from the Georgian government, told Civil.Ge.

The source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the number of wounded “was even higher.” The source, however, said exact numbers were still unavailable.
