Army Chief of Staff Becomes Head of Border Police

Zaza Gogava, who until now served as chief of staff of the Georgian armed forces, has been appointed as a new head of the Border Police, Nana Intskirveli, the Ministry of Defense spokesperson, told Civil.Ge on November 4.

Gogava has replaced Badri Bitsadze on the post of chief of Border Police, who announced resignation on October 29.
