Civil Georgia, Tbilisi / 11 Nov.'08 / 10:34

Shalva Natelashvili, leader of opposition Labor Party, said on November 11, that British, French and German embassies in Tbilisi “represent Saakashvili’s lobbyist offices and ambassadors of these countries are Saakashvili’s personal attorneys.”

“They hate the [Georgian] opposition and are blocking and hindering our activities through Europe,” he said without specifying “activities.” “They are also sending to their governments extremely biased information about the developments in Georgia… So I request the authorities of those countries to recall their ambassadors from Georgia.”

In June, Shalva Natelashvili lashed out at the Polish and Lithuanian Presidents calling them “bankrupt presidents,” who “are free attorneys of Saakashvili.”
