USS Taylor (FFG-50), a guided missile frigate, arrived for a two-day port call in Poti on December 29, the U.S. embassy in Georgia said.

A similar port calls by the U.S. warships were made in October and November as well. And in August and early September three U.S. warships delivered humanitarian aid to Georgia.

The U.S. embassy said that USS Taylor crew would participate in “a social and a community relations” events during the port call.
