Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexander Nalbandov and State Minister for Reintegration, Temur Iakobashvili, are paying visit to Iran. On March 1 the Deputy Foreign Minister met with Iranian Foreign Minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, and discussed bilateral cooperation, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry. It said that meeting was also held with chairman of the Iranian parliament’s national security and foreign policy commission, Alaeddin Boroujerdi. The Iranian Foreign Minister told the Georgian delegation that maintaining stability and peace in the Caucasus region would help to expand cooperation between the countries in the region, the Iranian official news agency, IRNA, reported. |
