Georgian State Minister for Reintegration, Temur Iakobashvili, said on Monday Tbilisi expected “lots of provocations” from Russia.

“I think, there will be lots of provocations; there will be lots of attempts to drag us into some kind of military confrontation, but we are not going to yield to these provocations,” Iakobashvili told reporters on July 13.

He said that although Russia might be ready for a new war from the military point of view, it was less likely because it would cost too much for Russia from the political point of view.
