Georgian Interior Minister Visits Italy

Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili will meet with his Italian counterpart Roberto Maroni in Rome on March 11 to discuss bilateral cooperation, the Georgian Interior Ministry said.
 
It said that signing of a new bilateral agreement on cooperation in combating crime was planned.

On March 9 Merabishvili was in Bahrain where he met with heads of security and law enforcement structures.

Last month Merabishvili also visited Austria and signed cooperation agreement between the Georgian and Austrian interior ministries.
