Georgian FM Meets British Foreign Secretary

Georgia’s Foreign Minister, Grigol Vashadze, met with British Foreign Secretary, William Hague, during his one-day visit to London on June 30.

The Foreign Office said that “shared efforts to resolve Georgia's conflicts, progress with Georgia's domestic reforms and regional issues” were discussed during the meeting.

“We had a positive discussion on how to improve stability in the Caucasus. I underlined the UK's support for Georgia and looked forward to our continued cooperation, including in Afghanistan and on regional conflict resolution," William Hague said after the meeting.
