New Healthcare Minister Appointed

PM Nika Gilauri said on September 10, that he had appointed Sandro Urushadze as new healthcare minister replacing Alexander Kvitashvili, who resigned on August 31.

Gilauri said Urushadze had worked on various positions at the minister of healthcare, labor and social protection for last six years and was promoted as deputy minister few weeks ago.

Urushadze was in charge of formation of data base of socially vulnerable persons - “a task, which he dealt quite well,” PM Gilauri said.
