Polish President, Bronisław Komorowski, reiterated Warsaw’s support to Georgia’s NATO integration at a meeting with Georgian Parliamentary Chairman Davit Bakradze on November 16, the Polish President’s press office reported.

Bakradze is Warsaw leading a group of Georgian lawmakers participating in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session.

Komorowski and Bakradze focused mainly on NATO-Georgia relations during the meeting and also raised some issues of bilateral Polish-Georgian ties, according to the Polish President’s press office.

“The President was absolutely clear that Poland will, at all possible levels, continue to support Georgia in all issues – be it the country’s NATO membership, or other issues. In this view, the President has already made several very important supporting statements. He also plans to make relevant statements at the NATO Summit in Lisbon,” Bakradze said after the meeting.
