Annual inflation hit 10.5% in November, up from 9.6% in October, the Georgian state statistics office said in a brief announcement on December 6.

The Georgian National Bank said late last month that annual inflation rate by the year’s end was predicted to climb to 10.6%, the highest since 2007. The government had to revise upwards forecasted inflation from initial 6% for at least twice in the course of this year.
