Georgia plans to open embassies in South Africa, Singapore and South Korea in 2011, Kakha Baindurashvili told lawmakers when presenting final draft of the next year’s budget on December 17.

Baindurashvili said that boosting ties with these countries was important for Georgia from the point of view of attracting investments.

“We think that opening of embassies in those countries will help to closer cooperation with them, which in turn will help us to attract investments from those countries,” he said.
