Tbilisi City Court found eleven people, arrested after break up of hunger strike of armed conflicts’ veterans on Heroes’ Square, guilty of petty hooliganism and disobeying police orders.

All the detainees were released after being fined GEL 400 each.

Defense lawyers complained after the hearing that the judge snubbed their request to consider the evidence, involving a video footage, which backed the detainees’ position that their arrest was illegal.
