U.S. Vice President, Joe Biden, will meet with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili in Rome, the White House said on May 31.

The U.S. Vice President left for Rome to lead the presidential delegation to the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy on June 2.

During the visit the Vice President will meet with the Italian leadership and will also participate in a trilateral lunch meeting with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the White House said.
