Tskhinvali Releases Ten Georgians

Tskhinvali released on June 22 ten Georgians detained for crossing into the breakaway region’s administrative.
 
Ten local residents of the village of Gari in mountainous region of Racha were detained over the weekend after they decided to celebrate a religious festivity, observed by the locals annually, in the Java district of the breakaway region.

On June 20 the Georgian Foreign Ministry condemned “kidnapping of civilians by the representatives of the Russian occupational forces” and called for their “immediate and unconditional release.”
