Public Defender, Giorgi Tugushi, has met “confidentially” and separately with each of the three photojournalists, who are arrested and charged with espionage, his office said on July 16.

“In the conversations, all the three photo reporters pointed out that they were treated normally and they were not subjected to any kind of physical or psychological pressure. They also noted that they have lawyers. According to them, at this stage, they have not got acquainted with the concrete evidence in the criminal case,” the Public Defender’s Office said.
