Tskhinvali to Hold Referendum on Russian Language in November

Breakaway South Ossetia will hold a referendum on whether or not to make Russian, together with the Ossetian, the official language in the region on November 13 instead of initially planned September 11.

Presidential election in the breakaway region is also planned for November. South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity has no right to run for the third term.
