Georgian and Russian negotiators are meeting in Switzerland on September 12 for the fifth round of the Swiss-mediated talks on Russia’s WTO entry terms, according to Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.

One of Georgia’s negotiators, deputy foreign minister, Sergi Kapanadze, said in an interview with Civil.ge last month that Tbilisi firmly insists on exchange of advance cargo information and international monitoring to secure transparency of trade across disputed borders in breakaway Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
