EU Foreign Policy Chief to Visit Georgia

EU foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, will visit Georgia on November 16 as part of her trip to South Caucasus states.

Ashton will arrive in Tbilisi from Azerbaijan before traveling to Armenia on November 17, according to her official agenda for next week.

After the trip to the South Caucasus states she will head for Moscow where EU-Russia Permanent Partnership Council will be held on November 17-18.

It will be Ashton's second visit to Georgia; she visited the country last July to open EU-Georgia Association Agreement talks.
