A second round of presidential election in South Ossetia on Sunday are valid as over 60% of voters cast thier ballots two hours before the closure of polling stations, the breakaway regions Central Election Commission (CEC) said. At least 30% of voters were required to vote for the runoff to be valid. CEC chairperson of the breakaway region, Bela Plieva, said no major violations were observed at the polling stations. |
