Chief of the General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov, who pays a two-day visit to Georgia, met with his Georgian counterpart Major-General Devi Chankotadze on March 27.

During the meeting “the sides focused on the ongoing defense reforms, military education issues and perspectives of further cooperation. The discussions also included the issue of participation in peace support operations and exchange of respective experience,” the Georgian Ministry of Defense said.

Also on March 27 Khachaturov was in Gori where he visited the Georgian National Defense Academy and on March 28 he will visit the National Training Center Krtsanisi outside Tbilisi.
