New Deputy Secretary of Russia's Security Council Visits Sokhumi

Deputy Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev, who visits Sokhumi, met with leader of breakaway Abkhazia Alexander Ankvab, Abkhaz news agency, Apsnipress, reported on June 1.

Nurgaliyev, who was appointed as NSC deputy secretary last week after serving eight years as Russia’s Interior Minister, discussed “successful implementation of joint agreements, including in military and economic spheres,” Apsnipress reported.
