NATO Deputy Secretary General Visits Georgia

NATO Deputy Secretary General, Alexander Vershbow, started a two-day visit to Georgia on Thursday.

On June 28 he met with Parliamentary Chairman Davit Bakradze in Tbilisi; he will also meet with Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili; Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaia; Secretary of National Security Council Giorgi Bokeria and State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration Issues Giorgi Baramidze and representatives of opposition parties.

During the visit Vershbow will deliver a keynote speech at the Georgia Defence and Security Conference in Batumi on June 29.
