Ruling Party Plans Campaign Rallies in 11 Towns on September 1

Ruling party, United National Movement (UNM), said on Monday it would hold campaign rallies in Tbilisi and ten other towns across the country on September 1.

The event, UNM spokesperson said, would be “the largest” one in the ongoing campaign.

In Tbilisi the rally will be held in the Sports Palace; other towns, which will host the event on September 1 are: Kutaisi; Batumi; Zugdidi; Gori; Rustavi; Telavi; Ozurgeti; Akhaltsikhe; Mtskheta and Ambrolauri.

“Leaders of the United National Movement will make speeches during the assembly and speak about our election program – More Benefit to People,” ruling party’s spokesperson, MP Chiora Taktakishvili, said on August 27.
