PM Bidzina Ivanishvili ruled out changes in his government for the time being and denied rumors about his intention to replace Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze.

“Why this question is being asked is incomprehensible,” the PM told journalists when asked about reports of possible cabinet reshuffle, particularly about possible replacement of the Energy Minister. “I think opponents are stirring these rumors.”

“Similar rumors have also been stirred about [Chief Prosecutor] Archil Kbilashvili. Both Kbilashvili and Kaladze are very interesting… and honest persons,” PM Ivanishvili said and added that he personally was “satisfied” by their performance. He also said that these rumors were targeting “the best” officials.
