President Saakashvili met his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev in Baku on a sideline of the South Caucasus Forum on May 7. Georgian President’s administration said that among the issues discussed during the meeting was ongoing construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway link, which “is of decisive importance for the both countries”. “During the conversation [the two Presidents] noted with satisfaction development of bilateral ties,” Azerbaijani President’s office said. |
