Interior Minister Visits Baltic States, Belarus

Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili will be visiting Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania on September 23-26 and will then head to Belarus, the Georgian Interior Ministry said on Monday.

Garibashvili will meet his Latvian, Estonian and Lithuanian counterparts and will sign cooperation agreements, according to the Interior Ministry.

He will then pay a two-day visit to Minsk where he will hold talks with Interior Minister of Belarus, Igor Shunevich; the Georgian Interior Ministry said that the two ministers will sign a joint statement, which should pave the way for a bilateral agreement on cooperation in fight against crime.
