Civil Georgia, Tbilisi / 14 Oct.'13 / 23:19

PM Ivanishvili said that a prime ministerial candidate, who will replace him after his planned pre-term resignation, will be announced one week after the October 27 presidential election in which, Ivanishvili said, he is “97-98 percent sure” GD’s presidential candidate Giorgi Margvelashvili will win without requiring runoff.

“The candidacy will be at first discussed within the [Georgian Dream coalition’s decision-making body political] council and then discussed within the [GD parliamentary majority] factions,” he said in an interview with the Georgian Public Broadcaster.

“A week after the October 27 [election] you will already know who will be the new PM; I think it will be agreed in the coalition within a week [after the election],” he added.
