Georgian State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Alexi Petriashvili, met with the NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, in Brussels on November 27. Accompanied by deputy foreign minister, Davit Zalkaliani, Petriashvili also participated in a meeting of the NATO-Georgia Commission. “They heard a lot of congratulations around the table for all the recent progress, and strong commitments to Georgia's territorial integrity -- including when it comes to ‘borderization’ by Russians - as well as to Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration. In that regard, Georgia's initialing of the Association Agreement with the EU is an important step in making Georgia's Euro-Atlantic path irreversible,” Appathurai wrote on his Facebook page on November 28. |
