Russia Pledges over $180mln to Abkhazia, S.Ossetia in 2014-2016

Russia will provide Abkhazia and South Ossetia with 3 billion rubles (about USD 90.3 million) each in financial aid in 2014-2016.

According to Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev’s January 4 decree, financial aid should be provided via the Russian Ministry of Construction,

The decree authorizes allocation of 1 billion rubles (about USD 30.1 million) to each of the breakaway regions annually for next three years.
