Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania held a phone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, Ihor Teniukh, “to discuss situation in Ukraine,” the Georgian Ministry of Defense on March 3.

“The Georgian Defense Minister expressed hope that the current situation will be de-escalated peacefully. The two [ministers] have also discussed the Georgian-Ukrainian strategic cooperation and its future perspectives,” the Georgian MoD said, adding that the two ministers “agreed to keep in touch”.
