EU will hold investment conferences in Moldova and Georgia on the occasion of the visit of European Commission President José Manuel Barroso to those countries on June 12 and 13, respectively, according to the European External Action Service (EEAS).

The EU plans to sign the Association Agreements, including deep and comprehensive free trade treaties with Georgia and Moldova no later than June.

EEAS said that the conferences will focus on business activity and investment in Moldova and Georgia; discussions will also focus on what the deep and comprehensive free trade agreements will mean in practical terms for businesses.
