There are total of 3,491,105 voters in Georgia, according to figures released by the Central Election Commission (CEC) on April 19. The figure stood at 3,537,719 ahead of last year’s presidential election and at 3,613,851 ahead of 2012 parliamentary elections. Data released by the CEC also includes number of voters in each of the 73 election districts (number of districts will increase as several municipalities will be split). The largest constituency is Kutaisi, Georgia’s second-largest city, with 155,605 voters, followed by Tbilisi’s Gldani and Samgori districts with 135,295 and 135,663 voters, respectively. The smallest constituencies are Kazbegi, a mountainous district in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region with 5,314 voters and Lentekhi in mountainous Racha-Lechkhumi region with 5,946 voters.
