Georgian President in Prague for EaP Anniversary

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili is in the Czech capital, Prague, to participate in a high-level gathering marking fifth anniversary of the inaugural summit of EU’s Eastern Partnership initiative.

The presidents of several EU and EaP countries, among them Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, are expected to attend the summit; Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden; Ukrainian Foreign Minister and EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle will also participate.

President Margvelashvili will address the summit and also hold bilateral meetings with the participants, according to the Georgian president’s office.
