Georgia’s economy grew by 7.4% in the first three months of 2014, according to preliminary data released by the state statistics office, Geostat, on April 30. Real GDP growth was 8.2% year-on-year in January, 5.6% in February and 8.3% in March, according to Geostat. Economic growth stood at 3.2% in 2013 and the government forecasts 5% economic growth in 2014. |
