571,123 voters have cast ballot by the noon in Sunday’s municipal elections, which is 16.65% of registered voters, the Central Election Commission said.

Voter turnout by the noon in previous local elections in May, 2010 was 20% and the figure stood at 17.15% by the noon in October, 2013 presidential elections.
