Georgian Parliamentary Chairman Davit Usupashvili is paying a one-day visit to Israel on July 23. Usupashvili will meet with Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein and Israeli president-elect Reuven Rivlin. According to the Georgian parliament’s press office, Usupashvili will also meet Knesset members Avraham Michaeli, head of Israeli-Georgia parliamentary friendship group; Ze'ev Elkin, the head of the foreign affairs and defense committee and a member of ruling Likud party, and opposition Labor Party leader Isaac Herzog. |
